Composite bonding uses a tooth-coloured composite resin that is applied, sculpted and hardened directly on the tooth to enhance its shape and colour. Because it is usually done freehand in a single appointment without removing much — if any — tooth structure, it is one of the more conservative and reversible cosmetic options.
