Epione Beverly Hills uses a two-tier injectable approach for facial volume and rejuvenation: conventional hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers for immediate volume addition and contouring, and the proprietary Neustem™ biostimulatory filler for longer-duration structural improvement. Standard HA fillers — including products from Allergan (Juvederm family), Galderma (Restylane family), and Merz (Belotero) — are cross-linked hydrophilic gels that provide immediate mechanical volume in the tissue plane where they are placed. Depending on the product viscosity and injection depth, they are used for mid-face volume restoration, nasolabial fold softening, lip body and definition enhancement, chin projection, jawline contouring, and periocular tear trough correction. The Neustem™, Dr. Ourian's proprietary formulation, occupies a different mechanism category: rather than adding foreign volume, it works as a biostimulator that signals fibroblasts to produce new collagen. The product was developed in-house at Epione and is described as containing bioactive components that interact with dermal fibroblast receptors to promote collagen synthesis; it is positioned alongside established biostimulators such as Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) and Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite), but with a different formulation profile. Results from Neustem™ injections are associated with becoming visible gradually over two to four weeks as new collagen forms, with the effect lasting an estimated nine to twenty-four months. Neustem™ is priced at $3,100 as a standalone component in the Non-Surgical Lip Lift package; it is also used for mid-face rejuvenation and skin quality improvement in older patients.
