This breadth allows the clinical team to prescribe the precise wavelength, pulse duration, and energy profile that best matches each patient's skin type, Fitzpatrick tone, and treatment target — rather than defaulting to a single platform for every concern. The ablative laser suite includes CO2 fractional and Erbium YAG systems. CO2 fractional laser resurfaces the skin by vaporising micro-columns of tissue, stimulating significant collagen remodelling with results comparable to traditional ablative treatments but with a shorter recovery window. The Erbium YAG laser is preferred for surface-level corrections — fine lines, superficial scars, texture irregularities — particularly on medium and darker skin tones where CO2 carries a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. On the non-ablative side, the clinic operates a 755 nm Alexandrite picosecond laser, a long-pulsed Nd:YAG (1064 nm), and intense pulsed light (IPL) platforms. The picosecond Alexandrite and Nd:YAG are particularly effective for pigmentation disruption, tattoo removal, and collagen induction through the photoacoustic effect rather than thermal injury, meaning less downtime and lower risk for darker skin types common in Singapore. The long-pulsed Nd:YAG also addresses vascular lesions including spider veins, rosacea redness, and port wine stains by selectively heating haemoglobin in targeted vessels. IPL (intense pulsed light) broadband treatments are applied for general skin brightening, mild pigmentation, sun damage, and hair reduction. Ensoul's clinicians use IPL as a versatile maintenance and adjunct tool between more targeted laser sessions. All laser treatments at Ensoul are performed by or under direct supervision of the medical team. Consultations begin with a detailed skin analysis to determine whether ablative or non-ablative approaches are appropriate and whether combination protocols — for example, picosecond followed by fractional RF — would deliver superior outcomes for complex presentations such as mixed-type pigmentation or multi-depth acne scars.
