Because it is performed in the surgery with the gums and soft tissues carefully isolated, it can achieve a clearer result in one visit than over-the-counter products, under the supervision of a dentist.

At EM Dent the process starts with a check that your teeth and gums are healthy and a note of your starting shade; whitening is most effective and even when the teeth have recently been cleaned, so a scaling and air-polishing appointment beforehand is usually advised.
