Porcelain and composite veneers for smile makeovers, planned using Digital Smile Design. Addresses discolouration, chips, gaps, and misshapen teeth with minimally invasive preparation.
Elite Dental Singapore offers both composite/resin and porcelain/ceramic veneers as part of its cosmetic dentistry and smile makeover programme. Veneers are ultra-thin shells bonded to the front surface of teeth to improve colour, shape, length, and alignment — one of the most transformative cosmetic dental procedures available. The clinic's approach to veneer planning integrates Digital Smile Design, enabling a detailed visualisation of the proposed smile before any tooth preparation begins. Porcelain veneers are the preferred material at the clinic: at 0.3–0.5mm thickness, they are highly translucent, stain-resistant, and durable, with a lifespan of 10–15 years when maintained correctly. Composite/resin veneers are also available as a more conservative or interim option, though they require repolishing every 9–12 months and have a shorter lifespan of 5–7 years. The treatment follows a three-step process: consultation and Digital Smile Design planning; minimal tooth preparation (typically less than 0.5mm of enamel removed) with temporary veneers fitted while the final restorations are laboratory-fabricated; and final veneer bonding and bite adjustment. The procedure is suitable for patients with discoloured, chipped, worn, or mildly misaligned teeth, and gaps between teeth (diastema). As with any cosmetic treatment, suitability depends on underlying gum health and bite — a clinical assessment is conducted before proceeding. Pricing varies by material, number of veneers, case complexity, and laboratory.
