The implantology department covers single implants, immediate implantation after extraction, single-stage implants with immediate loading, guided surgery using surgical templates, sinus lift and bone augmentation, and full-arch All-on-4 and All-on-6 rehabilitation for complete tooth loss. Planning is based on CT imaging, and anxious patients can be treated under nitrous oxide sedation or general anaesthesia.
About this treatment
A dental implant is a titanium screw placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. Over 2–6 months the bone fuses to the implant surface (osseointegration), creating a stable foundation for a crown that functions and looks like a natural tooth — without grinding down neighbouring teeth as a bridge requires.
