Duna Medical Center offers a dedicated multiparametric prostate MRI protocol on the Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T scanner. The examination combines high-resolution T2-weighted anatomical imaging with diffusion-weighted imaging and dynamic contrast-enhanced sequences — the three pillars of the PI-RADS assessment framework for prostate cancer detection. At 98,000 HUF (approximately EUR 250), this is competitively priced for a full mpMRI protocol in a European capital. The study is used for prostate cancer detection in patients with elevated PSA, pre-biopsy planning to guide targeted biopsies, staging of known prostate cancer, and active surveillance monitoring. The wide bore of the Siemens Aera provides improved patient comfort during the 35-40 minute examination. Referring urologists receive detailed lesion mapping with PI-RADS scoring. English-language reports are available within 3-10 working days for international patients.
