DTAP Clinic offers two levels of nutritional and micronutrient testing designed to identify common deficiencies that affect energy, immunity, bone health, and cognitive function. The Nutritional Screening panel at SGD 207 measures full blood count (to assess anaemia patterns), iron studies (serum iron, ferritin, transferrin saturation — distinguishing iron-deficiency anaemia from anaemia of chronic disease), vitamin B12 (cobalamin, essential for neurological function and DNA synthesis), folate (B9, critical for cell division and particularly important in women of childbearing age), vitamin D (25-OH D3, the primary marker of body vitamin D status relevant to bone mineralisation, immune regulation, and mood), and thyroid function (TSH and free T4, since subclinical hypothyroidism commonly presents as fatigue and cold intolerance). The Nutritional + Metabolic Screening at SGD 327 extends this with fasting glucose, insulin (allowing calculation of HOMA-IR for insulin resistance), HbA1c, a detailed lipid panel (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, non-HDL cholesterol), liver and renal function tests, bone metabolism markers (calcium, phosphate, ALP), and uric acid. This combined panel is particularly valuable for individuals experiencing unexplained fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, or musculoskeletal symptoms who want to screen for nutritional, metabolic, and hormonal contributors simultaneously.
