Laser tattoo removal breaks up tattoo ink with short, high-energy laser pulses so the fragments can be cleared by the body and the tattoo fades over a course of sessions. Pricing is by the size of the tattoo per session. Because ink is removed gradually, multiple sessions spaced several weeks apart are needed, with the total depending on the ink colours, density and age of the tattoo.

Laser tattoo removal uses very short, high-energy laser pulses to shatter tattoo ink into tiny particles.
