Injectable skin boosters deliver micro-amounts of pure hyaluronic acid into the skin to deeply hydrate it from within, improving smoothness, elasticity and glow. Unlike fillers they do not change shape — they raise the skin's quality. They suit dull, dehydrated or crêpey skin on the face, under the eyes, neck, décolletage or lips, and work best as a short course followed by occasional maintenance.
About this treatment
Skin boosters are injectable treatments that place micro-deposits of soft, non-cross-linked or lightly stabilised hyaluronic acid into the skin to hydrate it deeply and improve its overall quality. Rather than adding volume or correcting a fold, they are associated with smoother texture, better elasticity, reduced fine crêpiness and a healthier glow as the hyaluronic acid attracts and holds water and supports the skin's own renewal.
At Dr Skibicka's clinic the treatment is performed by a physician using fine needles, with numbing cream applied for comfort; a session takes around thirty to forty minutes. The clinic uses a range of established products — Juvederm Volite, Restylane Vital and Light, Revitrane, Redensity 1 and MHA 18 — chosen to suit the area and concern.
