A fractional CO2 laser that resurfaces the skin in microscopic columns to improve texture, fine lines, acne scarring, stretch marks and tone. By treating a fraction of the skin at a time it stimulates strong renewal while allowing the surrounding skin to speed recovery. Treatment can cover the full face, neck and décolletage or focus on specific scars and stretch marks, and is planned to your skin type at consultation.

Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing delivers energy into the skin in a grid of microscopic treatment columns, leaving islands of untreated skin between them. At Dr Skibicka's clinic the skin is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes for the face. Because CO2 resurfacing is a more intensive treatment, expect the skin to feel warm and look red and swollen for several days, with a sandpaper-like texture and light flaking as it renews; careful moisturising and strict sun protection are essential during recovery.
