A dental implant is a titanium screw placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth, providing a stable foundation for a crown, bridge or denture. At Dr Piosik Stomatologia implants are planned with CBCT 3D imaging and, where helpful, a computer-generated surgical guide for accurate placement. Supporting procedures such as sinus lift, bone augmentation and PRF are available when the site needs building up. The final crown is made and fitted as a separate restorative stage once the implant has integrated.

About this treatment

A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, restoring chewing function and appearance without relying on the neighbouring teeth for support.
