A veneer is a thin ceramic shell bonded to the front of a tooth to improve its colour, shape, alignment or proportions, most often as part of a smile makeover. Dr Piosik Stomatologia plans veneer cases with Digital Smile Design and a trial mock-up so you can preview the result before any treatment. Each ceramic veneer is custom-made in the in-house laboratory and bonded by the dentist. Veneers are typically considered for the visible front teeth where appearance is the main concern.
About this treatment
Ceramic veneers are thin, custom-made porcelain facings bonded to the front surfaces of the teeth to change their appearance — lightening colour, closing small gaps, refining shape and improving the symmetry of a smile. Once the design is agreed, the teeth are minimally prepared as needed, a digital scan or impression is taken, and the veneers are crafted in the clinic's in-house laboratory for precise colour and form.
