Profhilo Skin Booster

Profhilo is an injectable bioremodelling treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acid available (64mg/2ml). Injected at 5 BAP (bio-aesthetic points) on each side of the face, it diffuses through the dermis to hydrate, firm, and remodel the skin from within rather than adding volume. Two sessions 4 weeks apart produce a significant improvement in skin quality, elasticity, and hydration.

Profhilo is not a filler and not a conventional mesotherapy cocktail — it belongs to a distinct category known as bioremodelling agents. Its formulation contains 64mg of pure stabilised hyaluronic acid per 2ml ampoule, combining both high-molecular-weight HA (for long-duration hydration and collagen I and III stimulation) and low-molecular-weight HA (for elastin stimulation and antioxidant activity) in a thermally stabilised NAHYCO hybrid technology that does not use BDDE cross-linking agents. This unique formulation produces an unusually high spreadability once injected — the product diffuses from each injection point through the surrounding dermis in a polydimensional manner, integrating into the tissue scaffold rather than remaining localised as a discrete filler bolus. The injection protocol uses the BAP technique (Bio Aesthetic Points): 5 precisely mapped injection points on each side of the face — at the zygoma, mid-cheek, lateral chin, angle of the jaw, and lateral upper lip — chosen to exploit tissue planes where the product can spread most effectively. The therapeutic effect of Profhilo is primarily biostimulatory: the HA acts as a scaffold and signal molecule in the dermis, stimulating fibroblasts to synthesise new collagen, elastin, and endogenous hyaluronic acid. The result is not a volumisation effect but a global improvement in skin quality — increased elasticity, improved hydration from within the dermis, a lifting of superficial laxity, and a refinement of skin texture. Patients describe the skin as feeling and looking more supple, resilient, and luminous. The standard Profhilo protocol is two sessions spaced 4 weeks apart.
