The 3T field strength supports multiparametric protocols for prostate assessment in men and detailed uterine and ovarian imaging in women. No ionising radiation.

Pelvic MRI at 3 Tesla provides detailed cross-sectional imaging of the pelvic organs and surrounding structures with significantly higher resolution than 1.5T systems. For men, the 3T platform supports multiparametric prostate MRI combining T2-weighted anatomical images, diffusion-weighted imaging for cellularity, and dynamic contrast-enhanced sequences — the standard protocol for prostate cancer detection and staging without biopsy. For women, the examination evaluates uterine and ovarian pathology including fibroids, endometriosis, and adnexal masses. The examination covers the bladder, prostate or uterus and ovaries, rectum, pelvic sidewall muscles, iliac vessels, and regional lymph nodes. The standard protocol uses T1 and T2-weighted sequences in axial, sagittal, and coronal planes with diffusion-weighted imaging. Contrast enhancement is available as an add-on at approximately EUR 130 and is recommended for suspected malignancy, complex cystic lesions, or endometriosis staging. The wide 70 cm bore accommodates patients up to 250 kg comfortably.
