The device works precisely on the surface to ablate the lesion with minimal impact on surrounding skin. Dr Luch assesses each change first and advises dermatological referral for anything suspicious, prioritising safety over a purely cosmetic approach.
About this treatment
This treatment removes a range of benign skin lesions — such as skin tags, viral warts, soft fibromas, small superficial pigmented spots, corns and similar minor changes — using a PlasmaLift plasma pen and related techniques. The plasma pen generates a tiny electrical arc that, without touching the skin, sublimates the targeted tissue with great precision, allowing small lesions to be treated point by point while limiting damage to the surrounding skin.
At Dr Luch the change is assessed first, and this assessment is important: any lesion with features that could suggest something other than a harmless growth is referred for proper dermatological or surgical evaluation rather than simply removed, so that nothing requiring laboratory examination is treated cosmetically.
