I-PRF Hair & Scalp Treatment

I-PRF (injectable platelet-rich fibrin) prepared from your own blood and injected into the scalp to support hair follicles in early-stage thinning. I-PRF stands for injectable platelet-rich fibrin, a second-generation autologous preparation. As with PRP, a small blood sample is spun in a centrifuge, but the gentler settings used for I-PRF produce a fibrin-rich liquid that contains platelets, white cells and growth factors and that forms a soft matrix releasing those factors gradually over time. Injected into the thinning areas of the scalp, this is thought to improve the local environment for hair follicles — supporting blood supply, prolonging the active growth phase and helping existing hair look thicker and healthier. At Dr Kopaczyński the session takes around thirty to forty-five minutes, with the scalp numbed for comfort, and there is essentially no downtime beyond possible mild tenderness. I-PRF works best for early-to-moderate, non-scarring thinning rather than areas where follicles are already lost, so realistic expectations are set at consultation. A typical plan is an initial course of several sessions a few weeks apart followed by periodic maintenance; results are gradual and depend on continuing treatment. Because the material is your own, tolerability is excellent.
