Platelet-rich plasma uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which is then injected or microneedled into the skin to support repair and rejuvenation. Because it is drawn entirely from you, it is well tolerated and a natural option for improving skin quality. The clinic offers PRP alone, combined with Dermapen 4 microneedling, or as a fibrin-enriched protocol.
About this treatment
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a regenerative skin treatment that uses your own blood's healing components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors that signal tissue repair and are associated with collagen production. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin or worked in with microneedling to support tone, texture and firmness.
At Dr Kopaczyński the process — blood draw, preparation and treatment — takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with numbing cream applied for comfort. Because the material is entirely your own, there is no risk of an allergic reaction to a foreign substance, which makes PRP a popular choice for patients who prefer a natural approach.
