The PRP Vampire Lift at Dr. Jahnke & Colleagues is an autologous regenerative treatment that uses the patient's own blood-derived growth factors to stimulate skin rejuvenation. The procedure begins with a standard venous blood draw, typically 10-20ml. The blood is processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells and other components. The resulting PRP contains a concentrated dose of platelets, which release growth factors (PDGF, TGF-beta, VEGF, EGF) when activated. These growth factors trigger a cascade of regenerative processes in the skin: new collagen synthesis, increased angiogenesis (blood vessel formation), enhanced fibroblast activity, and accelerated cell turnover. The result, developing over weeks to months, is improved skin texture, reduced fine lines, better tone and luminosity, and a general improvement in skin health. Dr. med. Irina Jahnke injects the PRP into the face using either microdroplet injection at multiple points or in combination with microneedling to enhance penetration across the full facial surface. The combination with microneedling creates controlled micro-channels that allow the PRP to reach the dermis more effectively while also triggering an additional collagen-induction response from the microneedling itself. The treatment takes approximately 45 minutes including the blood draw and centrifugation time. Because PRP is derived from the patient's own blood, the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is essentially zero. Mild redness and swelling are common for 1 to 2 days. The clinic recommends a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results, with maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months. PRP is particularly effective for under-eye dark circles, perioral lines, and overall skin rejuvenation in patients who prefer a natural, biologics-based approach over synthetic injectables.
