Morpheus8 at Dr. Jahnke & Colleagues is an advanced fractional treatment that combines microneedling with bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy delivery at depths of up to 4mm -- significantly deeper than standard microneedling devices like the SkinPen. The coated gold-plated needles penetrate the skin and deliver RF energy at the tip, heating the subdermal tissue to temperatures that trigger collagen contraction and neocollagenesis (new collagen formation) in the deep dermis and subdermis. This depth of treatment is what distinguishes Morpheus8 from conventional microneedling. While standard microneedling primarily affects the epidermis and superficial dermis, Morpheus8 reaches the adipose tissue and deep collagen network, producing measurable skin tightening and remodelling that continues to develop for 3 to 6 months after treatment. The treatment is effective for facial skin laxity, jowl formation, nasolabial fold deepening, periorbital wrinkles, textural irregularities, and acne scarring.
