Pico laser (SGD 250–300 per session) is the clinic's flagship pigmentation treatment, delivering ultra-short picosecond pulses of laser energy that shatter pigment particles into dust-like fragments for rapid clearance by the immune system. Unlike traditional nanosecond lasers, pico laser generates less heat in surrounding tissue, significantly reducing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) — a critical advantage for Asian skin tones. It is highly effective for melasma, sunspots, freckles, post-acne marks, and uneven skin tone. In the 'honeycomb' or LIOB (Laser-Induced Optical Breakdown) mode, it also stimulates collagen remodelling for pore reduction and skin texture improvement. Q-Switch Nd:YAG laser (from SGD 150) is a versatile nanosecond laser effective for superficial pigmentation, carbon laser facials (Hollywood Peel), and tattoo removal. It delivers rapid energy pulses to selectively destroy melanin deposits while leaving surrounding skin intact. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light, from SGD 200) uses broad-spectrum light filtered to target haemoglobin and melanin simultaneously, making it ideal for treating redness, rosacea, vascular lesions, and pigmented spots in a single session. IPL is particularly effective for photoaging and sunspot clusters across the full face. Fractional Erbium laser (from SGD 400) ablates micro-columns of skin to trigger a wound-healing response, resulting in new skin formation, collagen remodelling, and significant improvement in acne scars, fine lines, and skin texture. The fractional approach means that surrounding untreated skin accelerates healing, keeping downtime to 3–5 days while achieving results comparable to fully ablative resurfacing.
