Dermal filler treatment uses cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel to address two related concerns: filling deeper static wrinkles that remain visible at rest, and restoring the deep facial volume that is gradually lost from the cheeks, chin and jawline with age. Because that volume loss is part of what drives sagging and deepening folds, replacing it in the right places often does more for a refreshed appearance than treating lines in isolation.
