Botox & Fillers
Duration
45 min
Injectable neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Myobloc) and dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, Radiesse, Sculptra, Belotero, Selphyl, fat grafting) administered by Dr. Kolker personally using a volume-restoration approach. Neurotoxins address dynamic lines — glabellar frown lines, forehead, crow's feet, neck contour. Fillers restore volume to cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds, and under-eyes. Immediate return to activity.
Injectable treatments at Dr. Kolker's practice are administered exclusively by Dr. Kolker himself — a commitment he makes to all patients — rather than by nurse injectors or mid-level practitioners. His injection philosophy prioritises a natural, rested appearance built on accurate anatomical knowledge of the facial fat compartments and their changing volumes with age, rather than filling individual wrinkles in isolation. Neurotoxin treatments use Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA), Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA), or Myobloc (rimabotulinumtoxinB) depending on the indication and patient history. Botox and Dysport are the workhorses for dynamic lines — glabellar complex (frown lines between the brows), horizontal forehead lines, and crow's feet at the outer eyes. They are also used for brow lifting (targeting the lateral depressors to allow the brow to rise), chin dimpling (mentalis relaxation), lip lines, and platysmal banding in the neck (the Nefertiti lift). Results typically appear within two to five days and last three to four months. Dermal filler treatment uses blunt-tipped microcannulas and topical or local anesthetic to place volume precisely in the deep fat compartments where structural loss has caused surface deflation. Product selection is guided by the rheological properties needed in each zone: Juvederm Voluma (highly cross-linked HA) for cheek volume and bony projection; Juvederm Ultra Plus or Restylane Lyft for mid-face folds and nasolabial creases; Belotero Balance for fine superficial lines where a lighter-lift product reduces the risk of Tyndall effect; Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite) for deep structural support and its biostimulatory collagen-stimulating effect; Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) as a biostimulator for gradual diffuse volumisation over multiple sessions; Selphyl (platelet-rich plasma matrix) for under-eye hollowing and skin quality; and autologous fat grafting for patients seeking the most durable volume augmentation with their own tissue. Appointments are typically 30–60 minutes; patients can resume all normal activities immediately.
