Mezonite threads at DiVine Clinic are smooth (barb-free) resorbable threads inserted in a mesh pattern to stimulate collagen production and improve skin firmness without a strong mechanical lifting effect. Unlike APTOS lifting threads, mezonites do not reposition tissue — instead, they create a scaffolding network that acts as a substrate for fibroblast activity and new collagen synthesis. MUDr. Petra Moravcová inserts the fine threads via thin needles after applying numbing cream, placing them in a cross-hatched or star pattern beneath the skin surface. The threads dissolve over approximately 6 months, but the collagen scaffold they generate persists for up to 2 years, delivering progressive skin tightening and elasticity improvement. Mild swelling, redness, and minor bruising may appear for a few days. Mezonites are particularly suited to patients with fine or thin skin who want collagen stimulation without a strong vector lift.

Thread materials
Mezonites used at DiVine Clinic are composed of polydioxanone (PDO) or poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). PDO is the same material used in dissolvable surgical sutures; it is fully metabolised within 4–6 months. PLLA threads persist somewhat longer (6–9 months) but both stimulate a fibroblast response proportional to the volume and surface area of the foreign material present.
