Hyaluronic acid (key component): - Non-cross-linked HA at varying molecular weights is the foundation of most aesthetic mesotherapy protocols. Low-molecular-weight HA penetrates cell membranes and acts intracellularly; high-molecular-weight HA stays in the extracellular matrix where it attracts water via osmosis. The combination maintains both cellular and matrix hydration.
