Simple Tooth Extraction

Type

Extraction

Duration

30 min

A simple extraction removes a tooth that is too damaged, decayed or loose to save, using local anaesthetic. At Diamante Clinica extractions are carried out by dentists with oral-surgery experience, with imaging used beforehand where needed to assess the roots and surrounding bone. It suits teeth broken down by decay or trauma, teeth loosened by gum disease, or teeth removed as part of a wider treatment plan, with wisdom-tooth and surgical options priced separately.

A simple (non-surgical) tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth that is visible and accessible in the mouth, performed under local anaesthetic so the area is fully numb. Teeth are extracted when they cannot be reliably saved — for example after extensive decay, a fracture below the gum, advanced gum disease that has loosened the tooth, or as part of an orthodontic or prosthetic plan. The aim is to remove the tooth as atraumatically as possible while protecting the surrounding bone and gum for any future replacement. At Diamante Clinica extractions are handled by dentists experienced in oral surgery, and digital imaging — a panoramic X-ray or CBCT — can be taken first to assess root shape, proximity to nerves or sinuses and the condition of the bone. After the tooth is removed, the clinic gives clear aftercare instructions to support healing and reduce the risk of complications such as a dry socket. More complex cases are categorised and priced accordingly: removal of a wisdom tooth (from 500 zł) and a surgical extraction where a tooth is impacted or must be sectioned (from 600 zł). Where the gap will be restored, the dentist can discuss options such as an implant or bridge and how soon they can be considered. Suitability, anaesthesia, medical history and aftercare are all reviewed before the procedure.
