Root-canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and disinfects the canals, and seals them to save a tooth that would otherwise be lost. At Diamante Clinica endodontic work is performed under a surgical microscope for magnified visibility of the fine canal anatomy. It suits teeth with deep decay, infection or an abscess where the nerve is affected but the tooth is worth keeping, usually followed by a crown.
