CO2 laser resurfacing at Dermo Písek uses a fractional carbon dioxide laser to treat the face and décolletage for a range of concerns including facial laxity, deep wrinkles, acne scarring, seborrhoeic changes and hyperpigmentation. The fractional delivery method — splitting the laser beam into a grid of narrow micro-beams — is the key technical distinction from older, fully ablative CO2 systems. Where a continuous-beam CO2 laser removes the entire surface layer, fractional delivery leaves micro-columns of treated tissue surrounded by untouched skin. This accelerates healing, lowers the risk of post-inflammatory changes and allows treatment of a wider range of skin types. The clinical mechanism is twofold. First, the ablative component removes damaged superficial skin cells, immediately improving surface texture, tone and clarity.
