Profhilo is a stabilised hyaluronic acid product used for skin bio-remodelling: instead of filling a single line or adding contour, it is injected to act as a hydrating, bio-stimulating treatment that is associated with improvements in skin firmness, elasticity and radiance over the weeks after treatment. The highly concentrated hyaluronic acid is placed at a few strategic points, from which it disperses through the surrounding tissue, drawing in water and supporting the skin's own renewal processes. At Dermedica the treatment is carried out by cosmetologist Natalia Kapturska and takes around fifteen to twenty minutes. Because only a small number of injection points are used, day-to-day disruption is minimal — small raised bumps typically settle within hours and any pinpoint marks fade quickly. The studio follows the standard protocol of two sessions roughly four weeks apart, with results building over the following one to two months; periodic maintenance sessions help sustain the effect. Profhilo is most often used on the lower face and is also well suited to the neck, décolleté and crêpey skin on the hands. It may support a smoother, more hydrated appearance for clients whose main concern is dull, lax or dehydrated skin rather than deep folds or volume loss, and it can be combined with mesotherapy and other skin treatments the studio offers.
