About this treatment

Laser hair removal works through selective photothermolysis: the laser emits a wavelength preferentially absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft and follicle bulb. When this energy is converted to heat at the follicle, the structure responsible for hair growth is damaged or destroyed, permanently preventing regrowth in that follicle.
