Anti-Wrinkle Botulinum Toxin Injections

Physician-administered botulinum toxin injections to relax the facial muscles responsible for frown lines, forehead creases, crow's feet and downturned mouth corners. At DermaMedEst all injections are performed by specialist dermatologists trained in corrective procedures. The clinic treats the full upper and mid face — glabella, forehead, eye area — as well as the neck (Nefertiti lift) and décolletage. Static lines that have formed from years of repeated movement also soften as the muscle is at rest. The effect is temporary and fully reversible as the neuromuscular junction regenerates over months. Lucie Jarešová or one of the clinic's physicians, mapping the patient's facial dynamics: how the brow moves, where the glabella engages on concentration, the pattern of crow's feet in animation. This informs dosage and injection-point selection for a natural result that preserves expression. Injections are delivered through ultra-fine needles with discomfort comparable to a mild pinprick; no topical anaesthetic is required for most patients. Post-treatment guidance includes remaining upright for four hours, avoiding flight for 48 hours and skipping intense exercise and alcohol on the day of treatment. The full effect is visible at ten to fourteen days; the clinic recommends a brief review at that point so any minor adjustment can be made before the product has fully settled. Duration varies by individual — typically four to six months — after which treatment can be repeated. Patients who return regularly often find that the resting lines become less pronounced between sessions as the muscle adapts to its new habit of non-contraction.
