Neck & Décolleté Botox (Intradermal Rejuvenation)
Type
Botox & Fillers
Duration
40 min
Neck and décolleté botox at Dermafit is an intradermal rejuvenation technique — sometimes called a 'Nefertiti'-style treatment — that differs from standard muscle-relaxing botox. Instead of being placed deep into a muscle, very small doses of botulinum toxin are injected just under the surface of the skin through many fine micro-punctures spread across the neck and upper chest. This shallow placement softens fine lines and crepey texture and gives the skin of the neck and décolleté a smoother, more rejuvenated appearance. It is best suited to fine surface lines and skin quality rather than the deep horizontal 'necklace' creases, which respond better to other treatments. As with all injectables at Dermafit, the treatment is performed by a dermatology physician who assesses the skin first. The effect is temporary and, like other botox treatments, is prolonged with repeat sessions.
The neck and décolleté are among the first areas to show ageing because the skin there is thin, has fewer oil glands and receives heavy sun exposure, yet they are often neglected in facial skincare. Intradermal botulinum toxin — distinct from the deeper, muscle-relaxing injections used for frown lines — is a way to improve the surface quality of this skin. The technique relies on microdroplet, very superficial placement. Rather than targeting a single muscle, the physician deposits tiny quantities of dilute botulinum toxin into the dermis across a wide area through numerous fine micro-punctures. At this depth the toxin acts on the most superficial muscle fibres and the small structures of the skin, producing a subtle tightening and smoothing of fine lines and an improvement in crepey texture, without freezing the broader movement of the neck. The 'Nefertiti lift' variant additionally targets the platysma bands to refine the jawline–neck transition. At Dermafit the treatment is carried out by a dermatology specialist who first evaluates the skin of the neck and décolleté and sets realistic expectations: the method is designed for fine lines and skin quality, and it is explicitly not intended for deep, fixed transverse wrinkles, which need a different approach. Because the doctor is a dermatologist, sun-damaged skin and any pigmented lesions on the décolleté can also be reviewed at the same visit. Results are temporary — in line with all botulinum toxin treatments — and become more durable with repeated sessions over time. Pricing is unit-based at 60 Kč per unit; because the area treated varies considerably between patients, no fixed headline price is published and the total is agreed at consultation once the plan is set. Aftercare follows the standard botulinum toxin rules: for the rest of the day avoid lying flat, vigorous exercise, saunas and massage of the treated skin so the product settles where it was placed. The treatment is not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with a known allergy to botulinum toxin, or over an active skin infection in the area.
