Mesotherapy at Dermafit delivers a cocktail of hyaluronic acid, vitamins and other active ingredients into the skin through fine micro-injections, using the Raffine AMTS (Automatic Micro-needle Therapy System) applicator. The micro-injections deposit the actives directly into the subcutis, where they nourish and hydrate the skin, brighten the complexion, smooth wrinkles and stimulate the skin's own collagen production. The Raffine AMTS device automates the micro-needling so the injections are evenly spaced and consistent across the treatment area, and anaesthetic cream is applied first for comfort. As a dermatology clinic, Dermafit assesses skin condition before treating and tailors the active ingredients to the patient's needs. A visible result usually appears after the first session; for the best effect a short course of three sessions is recommended, followed by maintenance about once a year. The treatment is most often used on the face, neck, décolleté and the backs of the hands.
About this treatment
Mesotherapy is the technique of delivering active ingredients directly into the mesoderm — the middle layer of the skin — through numerous very shallow micro-injections, rather than relying on topical products that struggle to penetrate the skin barrier. By placing hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids exactly where they act, mesotherapy aims to hydrate, nourish and biostimulate the skin from within.
At Dermafit the injections are performed with the Raffine AMTS — an Automatic Micro-needle Therapy System. The combined micro-needling and infusion mechanism does two things at once. The micro-channels themselves trigger a controlled wound-healing response that stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, while the infused hyaluronic acid and vitamins hydrate, brighten and feed the skin. The result is improved skin hydration and radiance, a smoother texture, softened fine wrinkles and a general rejuvenation of skin quality.

Preparation required
Attend with clean, makeup-free skin. Avoid sun exposure, tanning and exfoliating products for a few days before, and avoid blood-thinning medication on the day to reduce pinpoint bruising.
