Profhilo is an injectable bio-remodelling treatment that uses ultra-pure hyaluronic acid in maximum concentration to deeply hydrate the skin and stimulate the cells that make collagen and elastin, firming and refreshing without adding volume. At Dermaestet it is placed at a small number of points from which it spreads through the tissue, and is suited to lax, tired skin on the face, neck, décolletage, arms and above the knees. Because the effect is regenerative, it is usually given as a short course with results building over the weeks afterward.
About this treatment
Profhilo is a bio-remodelling treatment rather than a conventional filler. It contains a very high concentration of ultra-pure, stabilised hyaluronic acid that, once injected, slowly spreads through the skin and binds large amounts of water while also stimulating keratinocytes and fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and elastin. Because it is designed to flow through the tissue, Profhilo is delivered through just a few precise injection points per area, which keeps the treatment quick and comfortable.
