Laser hair removal at Dermaestet uses a diode laser to target the pigment in the hair follicle, heating and disabling it to reduce regrowth, with a cooling effect that keeps treatment comfortable. It works on almost any body area — from the upper lip and underarms to the bikini line, legs, back and full body — and the clinic notes it can reach even fine and short hairs. About this treatment
Laser hair removal works by directing a diode laser at the melanin pigment inside each hair follicle. The light is absorbed and converted to heat, which damages the follicle's ability to regrow hair while a built-in cooling effect protects and comforts the surrounding skin.
