This treatment injects botulinum toxin just beneath the skin to reduce excessive sweating where antiperspirants are not enough — typically the underarms, palms or soles. The toxin temporarily blocks the nerve signals that switch on the sweat glands in the treated area, noticeably cutting dampness, odour and clothing stains.
