RF Microneedling (Secret 2.0)

Secret 2.0 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered into the skin to support tightening of laxity and improvements in texture more powerfully than microneedling alone. The radiofrequency heats the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen, making it well suited to early jowls, crêpey eye-area skin and the neck. A short course usually gives the most noticeable firming, and discounted three-session packages are available.

Secret 2.0 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system that pairs the collagen-stimulating effect of microneedling with controlled RF energy released from the needle tips into the deeper layers of the skin. While the micro-needles trigger the surface healing response, the radiofrequency heats the dermis in a way associated with contraction of existing collagen and formation of new collagen and elastin — supporting a firming, tightening effect that microneedling alone does not provide. At Derma Solutions the area is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around forty-five to sixty minutes. Expect redness and a feeling of mild tightness or warmth for a day or two, with little other downtime. It is particularly useful for early skin laxity — softening jowls, firming the lower face and neck, and improving crêpey skin around the eyes — as well as enlarged pores and some scarring. Because results build as collagen remodels, a course of around three sessions spaced several weeks apart is recommended, and the clinic prices discounted three-session packages for the face and other areas. Treatment can also be directed at the chin, neck, décolleté and certain body areas.
