A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a titanium post placed into the jawbone, which then acts as a stable root for a crown. At Dentista.pl, implant placement is led by Dr Maciej Marcinowski, an ICOI/PSI implantology expert, and planned using in-house 3D cone-beam imaging so the position is mapped precisely before surgery. Once the implant has integrated, a separate zirconia or porcelain crown is fitted to restore the tooth. Single-tooth gaps and larger reconstructions are both treated, with piezo-surgery and bone-reconstruction techniques available where needed.

A dental implant is a small titanium screw that is surgically positioned into the jawbone to take the place of a lost tooth root. Over the following weeks the surrounding bone bonds to the implant surface in a process called osseointegration, creating a firm foundation onto which a crown can later be attached. Because the implant is anchored in bone rather than resting on neighbouring teeth, it does not require those teeth to be ground down, and it helps preserve the bone that tends to shrink after a tooth is lost. At Dentista.pl treatment begins with a consultation and a three-dimensional cone-beam scan taken on site, which lets the surgeon assess bone volume and plan the implant's exact angle and depth. Placement is carried out under local anaesthetic and, for suitable cases, the clinic uses piezo-surgery — ultrasonic instruments that work on bone while sparing soft tissue — and offers bone-reconstruction procedures where the available bone is insufficient. After a healing period the implant is restored with a separately priced crown, commonly a digitally designed zirconia crown, to complete the tooth. Implants are well suited to adults in good general and oral health who are missing one or more teeth and want a fixed, long-lasting alternative to a bridge or denture; final suitability, the need for any grafting and the overall plan are confirmed after examination and imaging. Outcomes are associated with good oral hygiene and regular maintenance visits.
