Dental Implant

A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a titanium post placed into the jawbone, which then acts as a stable root for a crown. After a healing period the implant is restored with a separately priced crown, commonly a digitally designed zirconia crown, to complete the tooth. Implants are well suited to adults in good general and oral health who are missing one or more teeth and want a fixed, long-lasting alternative to a bridge or denture; final suitability, the need for any grafting and the overall plan are confirmed after examination and imaging.
