All-Ceramic Crown

A full-ceramic crown that caps a damaged, heavily filled or root-treated natural tooth to restore its shape, strength and appearance. A dental crown is a custom-made cap that completely covers a natural tooth above the gum line, used when a tooth is too broken down, cracked or heavily filled to be restored with a simple filling, or after root canal treatment when the remaining tooth structure has become brittle. The clinic offers full-ceramic crowns from 2,500 to 3,000 zł, which contain no metal and allow light to pass through in a way that closely mimics a natural tooth, making them well suited to front teeth and patients who want a metal-free result. A porcelain-fused-to-metal crown, which has a metal substructure beneath a porcelain layer, is available at 2,000 zł as a more economical option often used on back teeth. Where a tooth is severely broken down, a cast post-and-core at 500 zł can be placed inside the root to give the crown something to hold onto. Treatment involves preparing the tooth, taking a digital scan with an intraoral scanner, fitting a temporary crown (from 300 zł) and then cementing the laboratory-made final crown at a later visit.
