Implant Crown (All-Ceramic)

Type

Crowns & Bridges

Duration

1 hour

A custom all-ceramic crown fitted onto a healed dental implant to complete a single-tooth replacement. Once the implant has integrated with the bone, Denticus restores it with a full-ceramic crown matched in shape and shade to the surrounding teeth, using an intraoral scanner for digital impressions. The crown is the visible, functional part of an implant restoration and is priced separately from the implant placement itself.

An implant crown is the tooth-shaped ceramic restoration that sits on top of a dental implant once the underlying titanium fixture has healed into the jawbone. It is the part that is seen and used for biting and chewing, screwed or cemented onto an abutment connected to the implant. At Denticus the crown stage follows implant placement by Dr Rafał Dobrakowski and is restored with a full-ceramic crown for a natural appearance, particularly in the visible front zone where light needs to pass through the material in the way it does through a natural tooth. The process uses an intraoral scanner to capture a precise digital impression of the implant position and the neighbouring and opposing teeth, which is sent to the laboratory to fabricate the crown. Denticus prices an all-ceramic crown on an implant from 3,000 to 3,500 zł depending on the material chosen and the position in the mouth; this is separate from the 3,500 zł charged for placing the implant fixture. A well-made implant crown is associated with restoring normal chewing function and the appearance of a single missing tooth without affecting the adjacent teeth. Shade, contour and bite are checked at a fitting appointment and adjusted as needed before the crown is finally secured. The clinic reviews each case individually, as the ideal material and design depend on the patient's bite, gum contour and aesthetic expectations.
