A custom all-ceramic crown fitted onto a healed dental implant to complete a single-tooth replacement. Once the implant has integrated with the bone, Denticus restores it with a full-ceramic crown matched in shape and shade to the surrounding teeth, using an intraoral scanner for digital impressions. The crown is the visible, functional part of an implant restoration and is priced separately from the implant placement itself.
About this treatment
An implant crown is the tooth-shaped ceramic restoration that sits on top of a dental implant once the underlying titanium fixture has healed into the jawbone. It is the part that is seen and used for biting and chewing, screwed or cemented onto an abutment connected to the implant. The process uses an intraoral scanner to capture a precise digital impression of the implant position and the neighbouring and opposing teeth, which is sent to the laboratory to fabricate the crown.
