A single titanium dental implant placed to replace one missing tooth, restoring a stable foundation for a crown without involving the neighbouring teeth. At Denticus implants are placed by Dr Rafał Dobrakowski, a maxillofacial surgeon and implantologist, after planning with in-house 3D cone-beam CT imaging. The fee covers placement of the implant fixture; the all-ceramic crown that sits on top is quoted separately, as is any bone grafting needed to support the implant.
About this treatment
A dental implant is a small titanium post inserted into the jawbone to take the place of a missing tooth's root. Once the bone has healed around it over a period of months, the implant provides a fixed anchor for a crown, so a single gap can be restored without grinding down the adjacent teeth as a conventional bridge would require. The placement itself is carried out under local anaesthetic and the 3,500 zł fee covers insertion of the implant fixture.
