A full-ceramic crown that caps a damaged, heavily filled or root-treated tooth to restore its shape, strength and appearance. Dentica uses a CEREC CAD/CAM system to design and mill ceramic crowns — and in many cases provide them in a single visit — with zirconia and endocrown options also available. Metal-free ceramics give a natural translucency well suited to both front and back teeth.
About this treatment
A dental crown is a custom-made cap that fits over a tooth that has been weakened by extensive decay, a large filling, a fracture or root canal treatment. By covering the whole visible part of the tooth, the crown restores its shape and biting strength and protects what remains of the natural tooth.
