About this treatment
A dental implant is a titanium screw placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root; after a healing period during which the bone integrates with the implant surface (osseointegration), a ceramic crown is attached, producing a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions like a natural one — without grinding down neighbouring teeth as a conventional bridge requires.
