Root canal (endodontic) treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and shapes the canals and seals them, allowing a tooth that would otherwise be lost to be saved. Dental Med carries out endodontics under a dental microscope and rubber-dam isolation for precision, with pricing that starts at 950 zł for a single canal and adds 350 zł per further canal. Re-treatment of previously root-filled teeth and broken-instrument removal are also offered.

Inside every tooth is a soft core of nerve and blood vessels within narrow root canals. When this tissue becomes infected or irreversibly inflamed — usually from deep decay, a crack or trauma — root canal treatment is the way to keep the tooth rather than extract it. The dentist removes the diseased tissue, disinfects and shapes the canal system, and fills the space with a sealing material so bacteria cannot recolonise it. At Dental Med the treatment is performed under a dental operating microscope, which magnifies and illuminates the canals, and under a rubber dam that isolates the tooth and keeps the field clean and dry. Pricing reflects the anatomy of the tooth: from 950 zł for a single-canal tooth with 350 zł added for each additional canal, so front teeth cost less than multi-rooted molars. The clinic also handles more complex situations — re-treatment of teeth that were root-filled before but remain symptomatic, placement of MTA, and retrieval of instrument fragments left from previous treatment. Because a root-treated tooth becomes more brittle, a core build-up and usually a crown are recommended afterwards to protect it, and these are quoted separately. Treatment is suitable for adults and children with a salvageable but infected or inflamed tooth; the dentist takes radiographs and explains the prognosis at the visit, and the published prices are approximate.
