About this treatment
A veneer is a thin facing — in this case made of porcelain — that is bonded to the visible surface of a tooth to change its appearance. Veneers are used to close small gaps, lengthen worn or short teeth, mask discolouration that does not respond to whitening, and create a more uniform smile line. Porcelain is favoured for its lifelike translucency and its resistance to staining from coffee, tea and wine.
