The consultation covers: which treatment option (Invisalign, Spark aligners, metal or ceramic fixed braces) is clinically most appropriate; an estimate of treatment duration; a preliminary cost range; and any preparatory dental work required before orthodontic treatment begins (e.g. cavity treatment, hygiene appointments, extractions for severe crowding).
For clear aligner candidates, the next step after consultation is a digital intraoral scan and full 3D ClinCheck treatment planning simulation, which allows the patient to see the expected outcome virtually before committing.
