A ceramic veneer is a thin facing of dental porcelain that is bonded to the visible front surface of a tooth to change its colour, shape, length or alignment. Veneers are a popular way to improve the look of front teeth that are discoloured, chipped, worn at the edges, slightly crowded or have small gaps between them, because they can transform appearance while conserving more of the natural tooth than a full crown.
