A titanium implant placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth, providing a stable foundation for a crown without grinding down the neighbouring teeth. Surgery is performed by the clinic's implantology-trained dentist, with 3D cone-beam imaging used for planning and an optional surgical guide for precise positioning. After a healing period the implant is restored with a custom crown. Each stage — fixture, abutment and crown — is priced separately for transparency.
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root. A small, biocompatible titanium fixture is placed into the jawbone where it integrates with the surrounding bone over the following weeks, creating a firm anchor that behaves much like a natural root. Because the implant stands on its own, neighbouring healthy teeth are left untouched — unlike a conventional bridge, which relies on grinding down the teeth on either side. At Klinika Delicadent the procedure is carried out by Krystian Matusz, who focuses on surgical dentistry and implantology. Treatment begins with a consultation and a 3D cone-beam (CBCT) scan, which lets the dentist assess bone volume and plan the implant's exact position; where helpful, a surgical guide is produced so the fixture is placed precisely. The surgery itself is done under local anaesthetic and is usually more comfortable than patients expect. After placement, a healing period of several weeks allows integration before the second stage, when the implant is uncovered, an abutment is fitted and a custom-made crown is attached to complete the restoration. If there is insufficient bone in the upper jaw, a sinus-lift procedure can be performed to build the site up first. Implants are a long-term option for replacing one or several teeth and are associated with preserving the surrounding jawbone, which tends to recede when a tooth is lost. Suitability depends on bone quality, gum health and general health, all of which are assessed before treatment. The clinic prices the fixture, abutment and crown as separate stages so the full cost of restoring the tooth is clear from the outset.
