Dental Implant Placement

A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root. A small, biocompatible titanium fixture is placed into the jawbone where it integrates with the surrounding bone over the following weeks, creating a firm anchor that behaves much like a natural root. Because the implant stands on its own, neighbouring healthy teeth are left untouched — unlike a conventional bridge, which relies on grinding down the teeth on either side.

Treatment begins with a consultation and a 3D cone-beam (CBCT) scan, which lets the dentist assess bone volume and plan the implant's exact position; where helpful, a surgical guide is produced so the fixture is placed precisely.
