A 3D cone-beam CT scan that produces detailed cross-sectional images of the teeth, jawbone and surrounding structures — far more information than a standard X-ray. It is used to plan implant placement, assess wisdom teeth and root anatomy before surgery or root-canal treatment, and investigate jaw and sinus problems. The clinic prices the scan by how much of the jaw is captured, from a single segment to both full arches.

About this treatment

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a specialised dental scan that captures the teeth, roots, jawbone, nerve canals and sinuses in three dimensions. At Klinika Delicadent the on-site scanner is used across several areas of care. Before implant surgery, a CBCT shows exactly how much bone is available and where important structures such as nerves and the sinus floor lie, so the implant can be positioned accurately — and a surgical guide produced if needed. It also helps in assessing impacted wisdom teeth before extraction, examining complex root-canal anatomy, and investigating jaw, joint or sinus…
