Extraction is the removal of a tooth that cannot be saved through decay, fracture, advanced gum disease or for orthodontic reasons. At Ddent a straightforward extraction is carried out under local anaesthesia, with the tooth loosened and lifted from its socket. The centre can protect the healing socket with platelet-rich fibrin where helpful, and more complex or buried teeth are handled as surgical extractions priced separately.
